Hydroseeding is a grassing technique used on difficult and impervious surfaces for which it would be difficult to achieve results with traditional seeding. It is therefore especially useful for climatic or natural situations for which a natural grassing process would be compromised. Hydroseeding is mainly used to create a grassy cover:
On the side of roads, highways and railways
To restore quarries
On the edge of rivers and lakes
On ski slopes
On green elevated areas
On the green areas of airports
Hydroseeding consists in blending a mixture of seeds, water, fertilizers and mulch that is directly applied to the earth with the appropriate
equipment. This allows us to fertilize the soil in a single solution and to keep the seeds damp thanks to the mulch that retains a lot of water.
This ensures quick and effective grassing.
